Brief  Bio:

Born in Seoul, Korea.

 

Studied at Seoul Nat’l Univ. (BS, Korea), Nagoya Univ. (MS, Japan) and RPI (PhD, US).

 

Once employed by IAE (research engineer, Korea) and Sarnoff  (intern, US).

 

 

Current Affiliation:

I am with MERL (Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories) in Boston since January 2006.

 

 

Research Interests:

Image and Video Processing, Source/Channel Coding Theory, Robotics & Control
